Trimester 2!
Hi Class!
Today we begin our second trimester of the year. I’m really excited to meet new students and to see returning students 🙂

Original Characters… in Clay
Here’s an update on your current project, Original Characters in Clay.
What you’ve done so far:

You drew an original character on a worksheet I gave you.

You started making your characters with Crayola Model Magic Air Dry Clay. Everyone was required to use foil to create the shape of their character’s head and body and COVER the foil with clay. (We did this because using thick amounts of solid clay would lead to cracking and wastes clay.)

You made custom clay colors by mixing your white clay with either primary color clays, or mixing paint and working it through the clay with your hands.
Your clay characters are DUE by the end of class on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 3RD.
